Made for readers

Everything you own, beautifully kept.

Shelf turns a server full of files into a home you want to open: covers first, your reading in progress up top, and the book one tap away.

A home that reads like a shelf.

Continue reading sits at the top. Underneath come the rails your server already offers: recently added, unread, your series in order.

Easy on the eyes, day and night.

Shelf follows your phone's light and dark setting, and the reader has light, sepia and dark pages of its own.

The Shelf home in dark mode

A reader that gets out of the way.

EPUB, PDF and comics open in a built-in reader. Paged or scrolling, in light, sepia or dark, with type you can adjust, including a font made for readers with dyslexia. Your place is written back to the server.

Downloads stay on your phone, so a book opened once reads on the plane. Progress made offline is sent when you land.

Magazines too.

A Komga library of periodicals becomes a newsstand: one pile per publication, issues by year.

Progress that follows you.

Through Kobo sync on Calibre-Web, and natively on Komga.

A goal for the year.

Bring your library

Your server, your books.

Shelf needs a library you run or have access to. It works out the rest from how the server is organised.

Yours, and nobody else's.

Shelf talks to the servers you add, and nothing else. Read the privacy policy.
